Friend and Family, our first born, our daughter,
LINA AMARIES D. SACUAN

My 40 weeks of pregnancy was not easy, my OB was like "30 and first baby?". God made this year the most BEAUTIFUL, little did everyone knew after he proposed I already told him, let's have a baby, I don't care the wedding is due 2 months from now. hehehe. To cut the story short, we were clueless that we were already 1 month pregnant at the time of our wedding. (Paaak, hitting 2 birds at 1 stone) HAHAHA... jk**.
During pregnancy, I always thought that I'll end up in the c-section, because I had thyroid history. I was hesitant to tell my OB that time, luckily she suggested and endocrine specialist, I had to drive all by myself to his clinic just to check whether is it a GO or a NO for a Normal Spontaneous Vaginal Delivery. After all the lab tests, yes , it was a GO for me... but still was afraid a bit. My OB was very confident with me, all lab test results were normal, the baby is cephalic but a good swimmer kay lage daw floating ... hahahaha. My tummy was big, everyone would actually mislooked it as twins lage daw ang sulod. HOY! kakapoy ba!
Fast forward, I was due supposedly by 17, but sadly , the baby did not came out, I had to to go back to my OB by the 18th but still its a NO! ... I had to keep myself busy in squats and walking around our neighborhood.
On the day of my labor, on the morning of the 20th I went to our health center to check on my blood pressure, everything was normal , ako rajud praning! When I got home, nag tiktok pako ! yes I am one of the persons na I tried to dance 10 songs, but ended up loosing the 9, ug 1 rajud ang na upload! Yes, I think you all knew about it. You should also try it! HAHAHA...
at 2PM I started calling my husband, and I just ended up crying kay sakit akong LIKOD I even called my mom for it!. By the time my mom went home, she scolded me kay DILI MANA LIKOD, BALAT-ANG NAMAN NA!... So we hurriedly went to the hospital around 8:30pm...
@ 10:30pm, gi-IE nako ... but 2 attending OBs told me "3cm naka, open na imo cervix, soft napud, makahulat ka unya?"
Of course, I WAS ALWAYS WILLING TO WAIT kaysa sa mag suffer sa pain.
October 21, 2:30am, I went back, got IE'd again, 6cm, literally, had to blow my waterbag on purpose, afterawhile, 9cm, then went inside the delivery room, the only thing that was going through my mind when the doctor asked me aside from the word PUSH was "GUSTO BA NIMO MAKITA IMO BABY?" I told her eagerly YES. I wasn't 15 minutes longer in the delivery room. It was 5:26am, a baby girl with 3.5 kls! Blessed because my mom knew someone who works there in the OB dept. So I have pictures of Baby Lina inside the the d-room.
I cried with joy when 20minutes later, they gave me my little bundle of joy. It was a moment I am forever grateful to the Lord and even up until now, when I stare at her, I would always cry!
This is a reminder to all the moms and future moms out there, be courageous, your baby depends on you
